Who is this qualification for?

This qualification has been developed specifically for those who wish to become an emergency first-aider and use a defibrillator.

 How long will it take?

This international qualification would be typically delivered to learners through a 1-day training course (8 hours).

Topics covered

Topics covered include basic emergency first aid, major bleed control, cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR), the use of automated external defibrillators and managing a choking casualty.

Assessment method

This qualification can be assessed by a practical demonstration and written/oral questioning.

Certificate Awarding Body

Successful candidates will be awarded by a certificate titled “Highfield Level 2 International Award in Emergency First Aid, Defibrillation and CPR“. This certificate will be issued by “Highfield Awarding Body for Compliance” which is an UK based 5th largest awarding body.
